Watson Namoki

Watson Namoki was born in 1963 to the Fire Clan. His hometown is in Kykotsmovi, also known by locals as K-town. He has been carving for 30 years. He likes to carve early in the morning and finds that it is his most creative time to work. When the carving is done, Watson especially enjoys the painting aspect of Kachina making. He has been inspired by Jonathan Day’s collection over the years. Watson also does drawings, stone sculpture and paintings.
